My 8-Step Process

STEP 1:  Nutrition & Lifestyle assessment

Leading up to the initial Nutrition and Lifestyle Assessment, clients are asked to complete pre-meeting paperwork, including details on medical history, current symptoms, goals, and challenges. I review this information before the first meeting, where we will discuss your concerns and goals, and help you select a couple of small, actionable goals. This first call is a great opportunity for us to get to know each other, and for us to discuss your goals for health and wellness. 

STEP 2:  Nutrition Education

During the Nutrition Education step, I guide clients through a comprehensive process of goal-setting and self-reflection. Together, we assess your current habits, identify areas for improvement, and pinpoint changes that are both practical and sustainable for the long term. Through personalized education, I empower you to make informed nutrition decisions, incorporating tools aligned with your unique personality and lifestyle. I emphasize individual preferences and the importance of finding healthy alternatives without sacrificing the joy that food can bring. We will also learn how to read and analyze nutrition labels, so you will feel empowered and informed every time you go to the grocery store.

STEP 3:  Nutrition Plan

In the Nutrition Plan phase, I collaborate with you to design a personalized and realistic dietary roadmap. This involves an exploration of your preferences, dietary restrictions, and health goals. Together, we craft a plan that not only aligns with your needs but also integrates enjoyable and nourishing food choices. The emphasis is on creating a practical and sustainable nutrition strategy that supports long-term well-being. 

Step 4: Sleep Management

During the Sleep Management step, I dive into understanding your current sleep patterns and identifying opportunities for improvement. Through a collaborative process, we work together to establish realistic sleep goals and address any obstacles that may be getting in the way of restful sleep. I will help you create a personalized sleep routine, emphasizing the importance of consistent sleep patterns and relaxation techniques. The goal is to establish sustainable habits that support quality sleep and enhance your overall health.

SteP 5: Stress Management

In the Stress Management step, we work closely together to identify sources of stress in your life and develop personalized strategies for effective stress management. Through collaborative goal-setting, we establish practical techniques such as mindfulness and relaxation exercises. I provide ongoing support to ensure the integration of stress management practices into your daily routine. Regular check-ins allow for adjustments and continuous progress toward stress reduction.

SteP 6: Movement

In the Movement step, I help you discover realistic and enjoyable physical activities based on your preferences and lifestyle. By identifying activities aligned with your personal interests—whether it’s hiking, gardening, swimming, or dancing — I’ll help you engage in movement that makes you happy and also boosts your physical health! The emphasis is on incorporating daily movement to establish a sustainable approach to fitness that you can maintain in the future. 

SteP 7: Relationships

During the Relationships step, I emphasize the significance of cultivating a supportive community to enhance your overall health. Together, we explore the importance of positive relationships and identify opportunities to build a network of support. Whether through friends, family, or like-minded individuals, the goal is to foster connections that encourage and uplift you. We talk about effective communication and boundary-setting, empowering you to create nurturing relationships that align with your values. This step underscores the role of positive relationships in your overall health journey.

SteP 8: Maintenance Plan

During the final part of the 8-Step Process, the Maintenance Plan, we collaborate to create a sustainable plan for continued success. This involves addressing any lingering questions and tying up loose ends to make sure you have clarity going forward. Together, we’ll create an action plan that empowers you to integrate what you’ve learned into your daily life, so you can keep aspiring toward being your happiest, healthiest self.
